      Project Settings

      Project Naming Restrictions

      For material or project names, the following characters are forbidden: < > / \ " : ; ? * | , = `.

      Project Geolocation

      ORIS 2D

      There are three levels of geolocation. 

      1. No coordinate system is defined, in which case the project will not be geolocated in ORIS. The default position will be in Paris, and the user will have to manually place the project using the search bar. With no coordinate system defined, it is not possible to import production sites into C3D from ORIS.
      2. If the project has a coordinate system, but no geographical location is defined, the project will be exported at the default point of the selected coordinate system. The user will have to manually move the project in ORIS. Production sites can then be imported into C3D from ORIS.
      3. If the project has a coordinate system and a geographic location has been defined using the marker, the project will be geolocated directly in ORIS. Production sites can then be imported into C3D from ORIS.

      ORIS 3D 

      There are three levels of geolocation : 

      1. No coordinate system is defined, in which case the project will not be geolocated in ORIS. The default position will be in Paris, and the user will have to manually place the project using the search bar. With no coordinate system defined, it is not possible to import production sites into C3D from ORIS.
      2. If the project has a coordinate system, but no geographical location is defined:

              a.  the project will be exported at the default point of the selected coordinate system
              if the user exports all the corridors. The user will have to manually move the project
              in ORIS.

              b.  the project will be exported at the first point of the baseline/region if the user                    exports a selected baseline or a selected region.


      Production sites can then be imported into C3D from ORIS.

         3.  If the project has a coordinate system and a geographic location has been defined using the marker:

              a.  the project will be exported at the project point if the user exports all the corridors.

              b.  the project will be exported at the first point of the baseline/region if the user exports a selected baseline or a selected region.

      Production sites can then be imported into C3D from ORIS.


      Note: the name of the selected coordinate system and the latitude and longitude of the project point are displayed at the bottom of the ORIS 2D and ORIS 3D windows.

      Material Supplier

       

      This is an ORIS entity possessing data from the platform. They are grouped in a special layer "ORISProductionSites_INFRA". If you do not have the plugin installed, you will see an empty square instead. 


      Note: Material suppliers can only be deleted from the plugin
